The above provision includes for salaries. TADA and Office Expenses of the Head Office establishment of the Department.

003 Training

Rs 0.60

Under PDS the field level organisation have to be imparted training in implementation of various distribution schemes, and training in quality control, market intelligence etc. It is proposed to conduct such trainings with the provision.

004-Research and evaluation

Rs 3.50

The above provision is made for installation of equipments for the safety of foodgrains, and for testing, analysing the quality of food grains under civil supply items.

2408-01-101-(40) Establishment of Food Grain Godowns

Rs 22.05

The provision includes for pay & allowances of Food Godown incharges, office Expenses of District level Officers maintenance of vehicles.

Two of the vehicles of Distrit offices require, replacement, but owing to megre provision, the schemes could not be initiated during the year, although the provision was agreed to in the ninth plan for 352.00 lakhs.

(41) – Setting-up of TRO/area offices

Rs 4.10

The provision include for the office expenses of Town rationing and area offices of District Civil Supply office accommodations.

4408-Capital Outlay on food storage & ware housing 70-Godowns

Rs 11.00

The provision is for construction of food Grain Godowns. Construction of Godowns at Pakyong and Ravangla are underway.
