MODERNISATION OF PRISON/JAIL ADMINISTRATION

The Jail at Rongek needs to upgrade the existing facilities and also carry out some minor works. For this purpose the EFC provision is. 20.00 lakhs for the Annual Plan 2001-02. In addition Rs 10.00 lakhs has been provided from the State Plan budget to meet the State share for Centrally Sponsored Scheme on Prison/Jail Administration.
