This provision is required to meet up the salaries,
wages, travel expenses, office expenses and replacement of 2 office
vehicles. Further, a provision of Rs 9.00 lakhs has been kept for
special Repairs of SNT Buildings.
2. Other Building: Rs
75.00 lakhs
Construction of Office-cum-Parking shed for trucks
and Construction of Godown at Matigara, Siliguri will be taken up.
The project will be taken up on a phased manner.
3. Acquisition of Fleet: Rs
100.00 lakhs
This provision will be utilised for purchases of
Commercial Vehicles (Bus, Trucks and Tankers) in replacement of Over
aged Vehicles. During 2002-2003 13 Nos. vehicles will be purchased.
4. Workshop Facilities: Rs
60.35 lakhs
Car Washer, Lath Machine and Oiling Machine will
be purchased for the Workshops. Further, necessary equipments including
for enhancing the condition of the fleet (commercial vehicles)
